KNP Driving change
Environmental
As a family owned transport company since 1865 KNP Logistics are profoundly aware of the environmental impacts of the logistics industry. The industry faces a huge test to decarbonise, and we are up for the challenge that faces us all.
We have always strived to make a positive impact to society, be it ethically, socially or environmentally – Logistics for Life
We appreciate, much like the logistics industry, the solutions being developed to help climate change are moving rapidly as we approach the UK’s 2050 net zero targets. We are committed to continually reviewing and changing our company as a whole to make sure we meet our sustainability goals and targets.

Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
We understand the importance of EDI at KNP and recognise that it is the key to a successful, innovative and sustainable workforce.
Community
Our local and wider community is the source of our current and future workforce and the hosts of our business activities and as such we need to not only be respectful of our community but also promote it and assist in its development wherever possible.
Development
At KNP we understand that training forms a key part in the development of our employees and improves our performance.

Governance
How we do business is as important to us as what we do. Our ESG governance starts at the very top, where our Group MD Ian Beattie is in year 2 of a Sustainability MSc. Ian has taken the ESG conversation out of the board room to colleagues, customers, suppliers – everyone.
Our Group HR Director Nick Bithell is LoCITY HGV Chair – Leading and managing the adoption of low-emission commercial vehicles and sharing best ESG practice internally and to external stakeholders.
Our “Driving Change” initiative was launched in 2022 to demonstrate our commitment to improving society and the environment.
Governance meetings are held within KNP and externally with our customer’s and suppliers to share information and knowledge.
